You should probably tell someone. :\ Maybe either an advisor or a policetypeperson. They can probably figure out who this person is...

Okay... I know it's the cook from the restaurant I was working at two years ago, but that's all I know. Even his phone number keeps changing.

You're perfectly justified in feeling uncomfortable about this, Berri. If you want to talk about this more thoroughly or want some help or advice, I suggest going for it, because this sounds like something you really shouldn't be ignoring.

Okay... I know it's dumb, but I just don't wanna make him sad. What if there's a reason he keeps talking to me? I don't wanna hurt anyone just because I'm freaking out.

If he's doing things like this, then him being sad or not isn't important. What he's doing is wrong and when you do something wrong, it doesn't matter if you're sad or not--you still have to face the consequences.

In this case, it seems like those consequences would and should be you doing your best to stay away from him, make it clear that you are uncomfortable, and if he continues find a way to have someone help you.

That definitely sounds creepy. Maybe you can talk to some of your friends about it, ask for their opinions if they know him irl as well, have him knock it off. It's starting to sound really not okay and scary.

I hope everything works out and that he stops bothering you.

He's a cook from my old job. I think he got my number from the manager... Which might explain why he knows my e-mail, now that I think about it.

If you feel up to it, or maybe get some friends to help you with it, maybe you can just send him an e-mail from a fake account and let him know you're uncomfortable with what he's doing and that it's not okay? He's really invading into your privacy and he doesn't have the right to do that.

I guess that would work... I just hope I don't make it worse or come off as mean.

Woah! That is seriously not cool, Berri. You're totally allowed to feel scared from this. Like everyone else said, I would definitely tell someone IRL about this before it gets any creepier.
