Right...so between trying to get things done and all the distractions that come with living in a place that's not really yours...I've only really managed to apply to a few jobs and get some new stuff ready to list up on Etsy in the last few days. Really wish I could just get my next part of my fic up and get a few art pieces done. On the bright ( Read more... )

*hugs* I think Nemo listened, because while we had a crap load of snow, we managed not to lose power! It was very flickery and shut out a couple of times, so I ended up curling next to the coal stove.

Just glad we didn't end up losing power and that it's been warm for the past couple of days. Some of the snow has melted but there are still wicked high banks everywhere you go.

And I'm complaining about it being in the 40's here.

I hope it all turns out okay. Snow is one thing,but no power in this cold, is not so good.

So jealous! I'd take that any day!

We're lucky to have power...I know that half of MA had none. And CT and RI were destroyed. Not exactly happy that we're supposed to get more snow again this week though.

Also, are they naming all the storms after cartoon characters now? Wasn't Orko the wizard on "He-Man"?

*hugs* We were lucky and didn't lose power. The shoveling...was not very fun. 26" of snow! I had to dig my car out and yeah. Fun times.

Haha...I think with any storm, whether is be winter, hurricane or whatnot, there's a certain list people use. I swear, they go in order. *shrugs*
