NIght was such a traumatic book for me, so small, yet so powerful.

(the scene with the little boy hanging still gets me....good luck with your essay :) )

It really, really is traumatic. I'm glad I just decided to read it the evening we got it, on Friday.

(Yeah... But the most emotional, for me, was the scenes on the train when they were fighting over bread. *shudders* Thanks, though!)
