The Man stands up

EDIT: I really want to know what others think about this, so please take a moment and reply. I've been thinking about and talking about Burning Man more than any other year. Burning Man is making another great evolutionary leap in 2007...and not everyone is happy about it.

If anyone (Techno?) can tell me how I can remove one of those stupid cuts which I double-inserted by accident, that would be great. ;)

Would you believe that I'd gotten so used to posting with the entry screen that I'd forgotten I could tweak it with HTML? This is why I will always be only a geek wannabe.

I'm curious, Sodium, what you think in light of Qibitum's research that showed that such a huge percentage of people claim their lives are changed and that they tend to report that they have taken a certain value home with them from the event. Is it not then appropriate to spring on that vast early-adopter audience with a message of such global import? LNT was about the survival of the event, more than just about self-reliance - you leave a mess, we can't continue to do our thing in this desert. Now, it's like saying, "You leave a mess with your consupmtion, we can't continue to do our thing on this planet." It's just turning up the volume on an extant message, isn't it?
