I've spent the holidays without family often, mainly because my holiday often comes during finals week or other times when I am not able to be home because of other obligations, or just because I happen to be out of the country (however PC this society thinks they are, I get really annoyed by the "Chanukah is Christmas for Jews, so giving them Christmas off and saying 'Happy Holidays' is okay" attitude, because you can't just celebrate Chanukah whenever, and it has a really different function in Judaism than Christmas in Christianity...and this is totally off topic for this post so I'm getting off my soapbox). I've found it to be alternating freeing and isolating. I hope you have a WONDERFUL Christmas and that you kick ass on your apps!
(P.S. How does Jim forget when Christmas is? I've never celebrated Christmas in my 27 years of being on this earth, and there's no way in hell that I could just "forget" that it happens on Dec. 25th.)
Kimmers! I has your present! *does a happy dance* It's not wrapped yet, but I have the next two days off, yar. Work a half day wednesday, then it's to Mom's, spend the night, aunt Katie's next day. Back to work friday thru sunday. So basically you have the next two days to see me before next monday- not that I want you driving in the blizzard, but anywho, there ya go. Miss you, love you, have fun times! *smooches*

How does he forget? Probably a combo of his family not ever doing anything for it and him being a great big GOON.
