YES TO THIS WHOLE POST. ♥ You put into words everything I felt about this episode. 8D I think September has a lot of ~feelings for Peter and Walter and that just makes me go all d'awwwwww inside.
And Lincoln! I liked Lincoln from the other side a lot but Lincoln over here has surprisingly been a delightful addition to the team now that Peter isn't here. I also wanted to hug him the whole episode through so I might be a bit bias as to how I feel about him.
Olivia vs. Altlivia was fantastic. The tension between them was so thick. I wanted to give Anna Torv ALL THE AWARDS. She would so deserve them.
Ah, I forgot about September in this post! I wanted to hug him. He's feeling the emotion that his friend August had been able to articulate into words before his death. "There's gotta be another way" and now September is going to help find it too.
an Olivia who has learned to be patient with Walter, because there's no Peter there to be patient for her and be the mediator.
This so much. That really was the highlight of the episode fir me. They really laid the groundwork for this in the last half of S3, and now it's paying off because these small moments between them feel very natural and expected. Though it raises the question now about how much Olivia knows about the corteixphan trials and Walter's involvement... (so many new questions!)
I do wonder about that you're right...how much does she know about the Cortexiphan ah! I think even knowing some, she would've had to learn to internalize it all so much better because she NEEDS Walter to find her answers...and Peter, though she doesn't know it yet. Also curious how Bell plays into this new world...
