I am speechless with this. It's just...beautiful. You did an amazing job sorting through how Olivia would have listed the different reasons for Peter to come back--always making it so much about everyone else needing him--before she finally realizes that the real reason she's afraid to admit to herself is that she herself wants him back most of all.

And yes, to her realizing it when she saw the shadows of her alternate self and F. I always thought that she was probably thinking of Peter at that moment (especially given the kiss in the following episode).

Wonderful peace (with good grammar, which is always a plus), and just...brilliant character study.

Thank you so very much for the kind words and feedback! With a first fic for a fandom, it's characterization that I'm worried about the most. I couldn't get her line about thinking up a hundred reasons out of my head, and when I was writing it out...her watching the two in the window just seemed like the right moment in the show where it could've come to her.

This was fantastic, you've gotten inside Olivia's head so well.

Grrrrl, I don't even know what's going on with Fringe but writing-wise this is fantastic! You have a natural talent for this! Have you taken any creative writing classes yet in college? If you haven't I would recommend it if it's something that interests you. I've read a lot of books, a lot of writing, been in many workshops, written a lot of stories, and you, friend, have the touch. Many people who work at this for years will probably never get to the point where you are right now. Now I'm feeling I really have to push you toward creative writing as a possible very real part of your future if that isn't something you're already thinking about!

Also, seriously, only your third fic? I don't know why I haven't read any of your other work before.

Hah, I'd scold you about having just exposed yourself to some massive spoilers, but I very much appreciate that you took the time to read this. :)

And no, I haven't taken a creative writing class in college. I'd thought about it...but I don't know if I'll have space anymore. The thing is I usually have trouble actually thinking up something to write. I usually lack inspiration, and I don't consider myself that creative/imaginative.

And hee. The other two were N/H pieces. Short. Decent, but not great. :)
