This rec list is for my fellow fan-girl tinkelo who I am navigating my third fandom with (woo hoo!) and who asked for a few recs. And because I'm me, I decided to go crazy and be all organized and give her a list of fifty to start with

You're very welcome! I'm glad to hear that you just discovered the show and are all caught up. I just got into it at the beginning of this year and I adore it and have been telling everyone I know/meet about it with a fair amount of success in getting others to watch. :)

And Peter/Olivia are lovely. I tend to be a sucker for the conventional couples, but of course that's never a given and I just really love how the writers have portrayed their relationship.

But yeah, I'm fairly new to the fandom & fanfiction myself and I thought I'd share some of the fics I've discovered so far. Alot of the authors on here have bunches more fics that I didn't have space to link to/haven't read yet. I hope you find something to your taste!

I'm very excited about this. I basically have read like -nothing of Fringe [for some odd reason I don't fully understand.]

So thanks - this is going to take up most of my life now. ;)

Haha, I'm glad you're excited! And, for me, I find that I've become wary of getting into fanfiction for a show because when I do, it always ends up being a commitment -- it does take up most of my life (especially during the summer/during my indulgent periods). Plus for Fringe, fanfics are a luxury whereas in OTH they were a remedy to a poorly-written show.

Anyhoo, let me know which ones you like best/where you start. Obviously, I like them all or they wouldn't have made it to the list but there are some definite favorites (like I said in the post, the very last one "Standby" is my favorite fic out there right now -- it's 30 chapters right now, just updated today, and brilliant -- when you're ready to tackle a monster, start reading that one!)
