I realize that a lot of people are selfish and shallow, myself included. The friends I thought I was so close to aren't exactly the greatest people I have ever met. I bend backwards to try and relate sometimes

it's crazy. i was just reading someone's post they wrote when they were drunk, and then i read your 5th statement(maybe?). it sums up exactly what i am thinking right now... you couldn't have put it better.

No my dear, you aren't going through a 1/4 life crisis you are just more original than you know. You don't feel the need to be a stupid conformist, go out drink and partake in other activities atticans have been known to do - you have no idea how far this will take you in the long run. I know it seems like you are all alone because this is how I was too, but if you can just find a few people who you know are your friends and hang on to them tightly you will survive. I'm proud of you for forming opinions so early, a lot of people do not do this and get suckered into the destructive cycle. There is no reward in going out, intentionally damaging your brain and then not remembering the stupid things you've done. It is sad when you see people who you thought were resiliant to this pressure but it takes a person of strong character, and you are one of them. Well, I am rambling but do not be sad - be happy, you find yourself judging because you are in a sober state of mind and not thinking when the next time you will be out of it is

Wow Kelly.. you're starting to sound like me, exactly like me...lol-- Ya I've learned a lot of people suck too.. no matter how much you do fer em they juss never seem to care, er well.. even realize... but in the words of Spill Canvas, "I'll let you get the best of me, cuz theres nothing else that I do well.
