Well. And just well ... I'm almost shocked. Though I guess I shouldn't be given your background of Lee here and how screwed up he's become. In all honesty though, I really COULD see him like this, even in the show - we were chatting about Black Market the other day and yes, he's killed a man in cold blood. I could see him doing it again. And the deep, dark places he's spiralled down into (both in the show and in your story) leave him in much the same place (albeit better here since Dee is dead). :)

And yes, everyone's entitled to a cheap cliffhanger now and again. I do them relatively frequently too. :)

Looking forward to more. :)

Yes, I probably wouldn't have written this if it hadn't been for Lee killing that guy in Black Market. It gave me the idea and I could see him doing it again if he got into a similarly depressed state.

(albeit better here since Dee is dead). :)

That's the trade-off for Dee being dead, that Lee has to be really screwed up as a result, otherwise everything is too easy!

Lee and Gaeta teamwork is beyond awesome. What a perfect resolution to the set-up. Clinical, cold, and wicked good.

And Gaeta's not finished...love that.

And the action packed run from the Centurion's was intense.

And the end...excellent. I felt the relief settle over Lee. The apology in his head before everything exploded was perfect.
