theorising

...so yesterday is a bit of a blur of queasy headacheyness after two bad nights sleep and various stresses...but despite my lightheaded woozy bumping-into-walls state I managed, with the aid of heavy drugs, to pass my driving theory test by a comfortable margin ( Read more... )

I don't think I'd be capable of a lesson today. Am drugged to the eyes and feeling very very weird!

Sorry you are feeling yucky, but I'm so proud of you for passing your written test!! So when will the driving test take place?

That's a good question, to which I don't have a reply yet...

However, I have a driving lesson on Thursday where I can surprise my instructor as he didn't even know I'd booked my theory! Plus I should have a roaad worthy car by this time next week so can start driving to work and back to build up experience and confidence. Put simply, if I can't drive by October I can't go to college...

Does that mean you got a place then?

Well done again :) I had a migraine the day before test #3 and failed on the basis I was drugged to the eyeballs and did a very stupid mistake indeed...driving in that state is not safe, but I guess with the computer terminal it's ok!

nothing confirmed yet but proceeding on the basis that I will have a p;ace, as better to plan for the practical necessities, like being able to drive, that need to be in place. Going to chase them this week to see what's happening.

It's an extra accomplishment to pass a test while feeling awful. Good luck on the practical.

Believe me, I read through each question very very carefully, knowing that I was thinking with marshmallow for brains...you were given an astonishing 57 minutes to do a test of 50 multiple choice questions, so even with going through it twice I had 37 minutes to spare, which made me feel a tad uneasy, in case I was being cocky in some way, or missing the point...but apparently not...

Good job getting through the test considering how you were feeling, but please do be careful with the whole walking into walls thing (says the girl who totally understands and actually tripped *up* the stairs yesterday)!

it's more falling down stairs I've been wary of today after nearly going twice! oh, and yes, tripped up my stairs too! It's justthat my sense of space is a little warped today...
