Okay, I just bounced up and down repeating yay yay yay!! Very unbecoming for a woman my age! ;)
But seriously so excited to see more of this one ( enjoying deadly dangerous Billy too, but this presses all my buttons) I adore Bill's enthusiasm and weep (literally) for his loneliness.
Viggo's observations on he and Dom's similar sense of humour when Billy shows his, made me sad, the idea that it's rare for Bill to laugh and have fun feels so wrong - he really needs to get to know Dom, and I can't help but feel that Dom would just adore Billy given the chance!
As for Elijah, whatever issues he may have with his father, they do not for a moment excuse his behaviour towards Billy, and I am most miffed at him!!
Seriously, it was! And now the job stuff has sort of leveled off but this acting experience is promising to be a really shitty one, so I may require more fic stat. I hate crazy theatre directors with their mind games and bullshit.
ANYWAY. You made me really, really nostalgic for Boston, which is not an easy task. ♥
Yaaaay update! And yay for people actually being nice to Billy! I have to admit that reading him getting picked on is a little cringey- but totally worth it. Also, Viggo the matchmaker is love.
Thanks babe! Yeah, Billy in this AU is very certain the world is out to get him. And any chance to make Vig the bohemian hippie love professor works for me.
Jan Van Eyck! I made a special side-trip to Ghent to see the Altarpiece. Also, imposed myself on an ex-visiting-professor who didn't actually mean I should come visit. I'm still embarrassed about that one :-(
Anyway, it's lovely to see Billy getting through to students, including Elijah in his own special way.
My mom loves the Dutch Masters. We got lost trying to find them at the Louvre, kept going in circles and never found them. *sadface* Which only means we need to go back someday, really.

At the Louvre, IIRC, they are about two galleries and a turn away from the Mona Lisa, so almost no one goes there.
