Well, the Palais du Louvre is located in Paris, which many would consider the "city of love". However that has long since been converted into a fine art museum.

Another thing I noticed is that worlds without a French language are pronouncing the word literally. There are some verbal similarities between Louvre and "Love". Perhaps it's a pun.
