The Power of Ten, Again: The Sonic Screwdriver
We all loved when he would... whip it out.
The sonic screwdriver, of course. What did you think I was talking about?
It was pretty handy in the classic series, of course, but in the new series, it fixes and modifies things, scans, cuts, ignites, detects and sends signals, reveals disguises, bestows "universal roaming" on mobile phones, etc. And of course, Ten in particular also found it useful for dramatic poses. No other Doctor used it with nearly so much style as he did.
