I should be studying, reading, sleeping, cleaning, working out. What do I do instead? Yeah. This. I shall share my procrastination with photoshop with anyone who’s checking out my journal right now.
Awesome icons. I don't think they all look the same. 3, 4, and 5 look similar and 6 and 7 also look similiar but the rest are distinctly different. Even those two similiar sets are distinctly different from the other. They are unified by a theme, maybe that's why you think they all look the same. Or perhaps you've just been working with them too long. ;) All are very good, though!
I’d wish them lots of pain and agony, suffering and more pain… but above all, a long, long life. Let them rot in loneliness and physical torments until they beg for death… heh heh heh. I like the way you think.
Well first, I would have replied to this early... but it wouldn't let me. I'm glad you got a new mouse! I always hate it when one stops working. Pain in the ass.
Now onto the newly added icons. Very nice. I like 11 alot and the focus on the eyes. 12 is very cute. And 13 has a sense of power to it that most male lions tend to have. I like the colors too. Fits the sign. Good job!
yes. I have two new mouses now. (that sounds so dumb, hehe). If one breaks, I'll still have the other. Thanks for your comments on my icon-fumble-ism. =D Now I only have four more signs to go, and I'm done. =D=D=D=D=D
Procrastination must be contagious...hitomi_chan16January 14 2007, 04:48:00 UTC
Hello. ^_^ I always enjoy looking at icons, and I found yours to be pretty creative. I really, REALLY enjoyed icons *inhales*: two, three, eight, nine, ten and thirteen (*is a Leo herself* ^_^). If I may suggest, I feel that numbers four and five are a little too dark and light, respectively. I love the image of that fish (is it a koi?), but it's a little difficult to see its color... unless if that was intended? Number three is, to say it simply, really marvelous because of the image of the fish (again, koi?) and where the sign was placed. The bright gold-yellow of the fish attracts my attention and it really does say, "Look at me! I'm Pisces!" With number six, I think it'd be pretty awesome if the sign was a little faded... If that's possible? I'm not sure what can be done with Photoshop. ^_^U And number nine... *drools* I love the image that you chose. ^_^ So, overall, VERY awesome! I hope you find the time to make more icons. They're very beautiful. ^_^
Procrastination is bliss. Yes. =PsudynJanuary 14 2007, 05:09:55 UTC
oh wow! Some great feedback! =D Thank you very much. I'll try to fix the things you mentioned when redoing them. (I have to redo them, because I am an idiot and have not worked out all the little photoshop secrets yet.) I quite agree that the two pisces icons (and yes, they are all koi, hehe) are too pale/dark. The pale one was meant to be partly transparent, so the colors would look different, depending on which background you put them, but apparently, I have mussed things up a bit. *blushes*
I hope you find the time to make more icons In fact, I am just trying to make more zodiac icons right now, so I can post them over at solar_dust tomorrow. I'll try to keep your tips in mind when I make them. =D
And of course, you can take any you like, if you like. No credits required. ;)
Thank you also for the compliments. *grin* I'll procrastinate work really hard on the new ones.

That's what critiquing is for. ^_^ It's like your brain filling in the missing letters while you're typing up something, but other people can catch the typos. Seriously, if I had the guts to have other people read what I write and critique, I would. I think it's cool that you are so willing to accept any constructive criticism. =^_^=
I'll take some of the Leo ones *blushes*, but I'll credit anyway. ^_~ And thank you!

Always welcome. And I love critiscism, by the way. The more straight forward and to the point, the better. Even if they turn out harsh. That's the way I like it. Especially when it comes to my writing, hehe. ;) Your critique was great. (Not harsh, but great.) It was very helpful, and I tried to make sure I didn't make the same mistakes in the new icons I made. I'm glad you liked the loe-ones, and thanks for offering credits. =D Enjoy!
