Oh... my head-canon is for Mycroft to have some joint Holmesian scheme behind the bargaining with Moriarty, but this is a very lovely defence of the episode-canon. His voice is down perfectly and the emotion is encased in ice, but shines though. Love it!

I can't decide my headcanon, though I'm probably leaning towards Mycroft being in on the scheme. If you'd like, you can pretend there's a secret message embedded in the text.

I heard Mark Gatiss narrating this entire ficlet. You did an amazing job at capturing his mood, his poise, and his pride in the presentation of his "confession." I love it.
