[Okay! Let's see... let's look official here, Scott! He keeps a determined face.]
This is uh... Captain Scott Pilgrim of the... El Fabuloso! [Yeah, that's super tentative. Sounds okay though, let's roll with it.]
I'm going to be heading out to look around a little, and to see if there's something good. Like Mobius, or something like that. Shouldn't be a problem.
[Haken nodded his head. The guy seemed a little off to him, but he himself is a cowboy piloting a spaceship for not the first time, so who was he to judge.]
Howdy, Captain Pilgrim. Glad to make your acquaintance.
Well, I don't have a ship, or a name for it yet! But I will have one! Gotta think of a name before you actually get the ship, that's the most important part! How can I strike fear into the heart of evil from the moment I get my ship if I don't even have an awesome sounding name for it?
[He gets distracted by this train of thought, thinking of several other names for his ship to be... and possibly his mech-to-be as well. He clears his throat when he realizes he's still on the comm.]
I think it's pretty self-explanatory. I just don't think any of us are going to get anywhere without a little collaboration.
I am kind thinking of sending a ship in each direction from around the station for a few day trial session to see what we find and report back before we go on a longer travel. Maybe get some method of communication set up, because I'm throwing a blind bet on the idea that we only have a limited range of communication with these devices.

Captain Bang Shishigami, at your service, Haken!

Maybe you should name it something cool after the place you come from or those you wish to protect, Captain Shishigami.
When you get a ship logged into the official roster, I'll add it to my mission roster.
Welcome to the rodeo, pardner.
