Ugh she was just so awesomeeeee. And when I heard Gen was going to be in The French Mistake I was so ridiculously excited to see her and all it would mean for the OMG RUBY? lulz. And it absolutely did not disappoint. And she was hilarious and adorable.
I'm excited about this! I loved KC's Ruby and hated GC's until the two-parter with Anna and Ruby let herself get so fucked up... By the time it turned out she'd played them I was kinda like, really show? That was sooo not necessary!
Anyhoodle, will be following these posts.
BTW am doing some posts for Gwendolyn Post and if you've got time would love a picspam.
I tend to love my characters with flaws, and Ruby definitely had them while still remaining a hot ass bamf. ;)
And I mean, she is a demon. Obviously her sense of what is right might not be whats best for humanity. But she isn't flip flopping around an issue. She sticks to it and she believes in it.

Completely agreed that Ruby was one of the most fascinating characters in the series, hands down. Gawd, I miss her.
And word--she did genuinely care for Sam. Absolutely. Will ship it to the death.

Thank you! Thank you! In advance!
Dang the actress was good! I always wished she could've lasted longer on the show and she was the only person that truly flummoxed Giles.
Her entrance was awesome. "Synchronised slaying, what'd you think?"
"Sloppy, you telegraphed your punches and took too long."
AWESOME lady who's awesome!

Even if I wanted to shake her, I wanted to shake the boys MORE for not realizing how well she was playing them against their weaknesses and fears.
LOL, Yes! I love fallibility in characters, on both sides of the hero/villain coin. And on this show, let's face it, those sides are not that clear.
she was doing what she thought was right.
Great point. And she was so much like Sam in that sense. Good intentions....
Excellent post!
