Okay, so I always thought that ftw/FTW/variations thereupon stood for 'Fuck the world.' To mean, like, 'Awesome!' or 'Best thing before and after sliced bread!' or occasionally as in 'Fuck the fucking world, wow, I'm having a bad day here.'

And so I just found out it actually stands for 'for the win.' Seriously? I mean, how pathetic and downright

We've always used WTF as 'what the fuck???', and FTW as 'fuck the world'. (Sorry, I'm slightly dyslexic tonight.) *sharing your disillusionment* No. I refuse to accept that. The world must be brought to our understanding. Spread the word!
