Anybody out there know of a good free mp3 to wave conversion program and/or how to get the current version of Winamp to do so? I've been developing a horrible headache trying to get this to work...thanks in advance!

Finally saw the Two Towers today. It was as good as I expected it to be. Couldn't help but smile at the amazing animation of the Ents and Gollum is just unbelievable. Definitely worth the price of admission!

Missed the Two Towers last night...my brother-in-law stood in line in the freezing cold only to have them run out of tickets two people in front of him. D'oh! Well, maybe that's okay, my medication might have put me to sleep halfway through it anyway at that time of night. :-) Perhaps I'll see it this weekend...

There's a strange mix of anticipation and ennui right now...it's the happy holiday season, yet very few of my friends are ever online, and those who are usually have a certain animosity toward Christmas... Has anybody out there had experience with AOL losing messages? I haven't received replies to anything I've written in the last two days, including an important business e-mail. Quite a down day today...it seems all my friends are either absent or upset. One of those days where lots of little things go wrong and it all kind of adds up. D'oh! I'm trying to fix LiveJournal's annoying insertion of three extra copies of my previous message, but it appears not to have been successful... Grrr!
