I am now on Dreamwidth as such_heights, thanks to the very kind avendya. I am not sure as yet quite what I am doing with it, but I am finding friends and adding new people and playing. Shiny!

Possibly? Dreamwidth has been pretty specifically developed as the antidote to all our ills, and so far it's both gaining lots of positive attention from various corners of fandom and wider LJ. Far too early to say whether this will be fandom's permanent new home, but it does look rather appealing.
