this was just lovely. wonderful visuals, and fantastic descriptions relationship between jack and ianto and the underlying, unspoken tension between jack and the doctor.
Ianto's never been much of a hand-holder, not with anyone. And now he's so used to compartmentalising everything to do with Jack, forever intent on being the consummate professional to all outsiders. This isn't the first time they've done something like this - dancing at Gwen's wedding, several undeniably date-like dinners around Cardiff Bay - but the unguarded, uncomplicated show of intimacy still forces Ianto to take a moment.
1. I miss Donna. Hardly relevent, but still something I like to make known about every other day.
2. "--I'd probably have to trawl half the planet looking for coffee suitable to keep you in the manner to which you are accustomed." So true - both of Ianto's superior coffee brewing skills and of Jack's more-than-likely whinging about lack thereof on whatever planet they settle.
Brilliant. Ianto and Jack deserve a bit of a break.
