I'm back!

Well, the 5 week trip to NYC (and beyond) is done and dusted. I'm now (mostly) over my jetlag and I'm about to return to work.

I have photos scattered across 2 cameras, an Ipad and three phones, and as soon as I can bring them all together, I'll begin my recap of the trip.

Of course, it wouldn't be a trip to New York without trying to cram in as many ( Read more... )

I'm so thrilled you got to see all the theater you hoped to and the girls got to see the complete Wicked!

I'm also jealous. lol You've now seen more musicals than I have in the past couple of years.

It's good to know you're finally settled back home. I hope the girls had a good time. I heard on the radio yesterday that it was "dragon day" and I thought of Miss 13. :)

I saw Avenue Q a few years ago but kept nodding off. I don't know why that happened but I loved it. Saw Wicked on Broadway with my daughter in 2007 and twice in Sydney. But nothing beats Randy's version with Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel.

I tried to get into Kinky Boots and Song of Mormon last July and tix were ridiculously expensive. I just recently watched the movie of KB and loved it especially the drag queen.

Good on you for your persistence to get good tix for the other shows. Sounds like it was well worth it. Nothing beats a broadway show or ten.

Steph, you win the Dedicated Theater Star Award! You did so good. Winning the lottery and standing in line in freezing weather and getting to see great shows. It sounds like the theater aspect of the trip was a big success - I'm so glad this all happened for you.

And based on your review, I have finally decided to go see Newsies. Thanks.
