[Sora here wasn't paying much attention to the pokégear during most of that transmission-- actually, he was striding along down Goldenrod with his arms full of supplies he'd bought from the Department store when the 'gear fell out of his grip and hit the ground with a clatter.]

[so now there's another familiar messy-haired kid blinking down at the 'gear... then something about who he heard in that transmission clicks in his brain and his eyes go wide, his breath hitches, and he pretty much drops everything he was carrying as he scrambles to switch off the pokégear. he's too late on hiding his face, though.]

[oh fu-- ...dge. in that ten minutes Sora's managed to gather up all his stuff, practically throw it in the pokecenter where he's staying, then allow his mind and heart to stop racing long enough to think. he didn't hear what Vanitas said in that transmission, but he aware of what he is, and slightly aware of what he wants.]

[so when Sora answers, he's done his best to try to get somewhere discreet. he'll do his best to distract Vanitas from finding out where exactly big bro is.]
