Chapter 7 of Owned is posted as noted below. It's more than twice as long as chapter the last, and both of our dear ones are in the same room! Well, and Crooks, of course.

Holy Mackeral, Darling, I cannot tell you how thrilled I was to see this, and how desperately I clicked on the FF link (because it doesn't require a sign in) and how quickly I devoured it.

Only delayed by an eensey bit of work.

--Of course, it was delicious. Snape doing Snape-ish things and flickers of Hermione... so good.

Another stellar chapter - probably my favourite so far. I'm just so caught up in this fic - it is so well written and I can just picture it all so vividly. The tenderness at the end of 'Crooks' seeing their sleeping dynamic change was so touching and intimate. Beautiful.

I have one question, though: I put up my image in my two Chapters of The Sensual like you showed me, but when the admin sent it to me for corrections she said that their server would not allow images on fics and they wouldn't post my chapters until I removed the images. I did, but they haven't posted it yet. I wondered how yours was allowed to post.

What an awesome surprise this morning, a great little "oh yeah, it's THURSDAY!" mid morning pick me up. Thank god for PP update emails to my phone or I would have missed it until now.

also, ever since i read it, i've been wandering through my day wondering why there isn't any more of it to read. *sigh* i guess i can go reread all the chapters so far. maybe that will scratch this itch.

Subversa, sorry to intrude in your journal. I just wanted to tell you that, for the first time in my life, I read a novel in order to read a fanfic based on it: I just finished reading The Grand Sophy (and liked it immensely) and now I can go and read His Draught of Delicate Poison.
