As for me, I am cooking ribs for my family today. Yummmmmmmmmmmmy!

Is your self imposed deadline 'before the next book comes out' too?

I'm about 25,000 words into my final WIP (Part III of my trilogy), and I'm going to finish it. I am. Really.

How much farther do you think you have to go? I'm telling the story of Severus and Lily up until Lily's death - to the morning Harry is left on the Dursley's doorstep, actually - and I'm just beginning to write about their sixth year. I'm saying 3 more chapters - which could be up to 25k more, since the last few chapters have exceeded 8000 words.

*headdesk*

Yes, prior to 7/21 is my deadline. I have a fear that I won't want to finish it, afterwards - and what I think won't matter any more, because we'll know what JO thinks!
