Is this week over yet?

This week has been a tough one so far. I started exercising again, which has led to some SERIOUS hunger.  By the end of last week, I was doing okay with the 800 calories/day. Since I started exercising again on Saturday, though, I'm getting hungry a lot faster than the scheduled 3 hour intervals for the diet. I'm just having to find ways to keep ( Read more... )

I do this too. I also eat when I'm bored. It's interesting how that works. Good for you for figuring it out. What's that they say... knowledge is half the battle?

Have you thought about dropping some of the exercise to help? I know you said you were trying to exercise every day - maybe 4 days a week would be better to start, and ease yourself into it to adjust your body? Just brainstorming.

I've thought about this. The exercising that I'm doing isn't too intense, but maybe I do need to cut back. I couldn't go tonight because of my work event, so I guess that's a start...

I'm all too aware of how I use food to cope. To cope with sadness, to cope with boredom. They say awareness is the first step. I'm still trying to make it to the second, whereupon I stop using it as a crutch. I'm trying my best.
