  I don't know why the results of this poll have fired me up so much. Maybe it's the discovery that I'm a minority. Whatever the reason, I'm channeling that frustration and doing something constructive. I've started 12_percent, a community for those of us who proudly embrace evolution and science.

But what if I'm one of those people that believes in Evolution, that the bible is bunk, but that some sort of force MAY have had something to do with getting the ball rolling, the bang. . . banging, etc.

Am I able to join as well? Or will I just be mocked off the internets?

  Sure you can join. I don't automatically scoff at the idea of a higher power; for all I know, the whole universe could be happening in a jar on the desk of an alien race of talking lawn chairs. I just deny that it was created as-is, or guided step by step, at the will of an anthropomorphic spectre who had us in mind from the beginning.

to elaborate on the last comment - more of a "you got your chocolate in my peanut butter" moment, only substitute chocolate and peanut butter for the two elements x and y that created the Big Bang.
