Is World Peace possible?

Or a better question, do you think people want World Peace?

Did you know that the first Matrix was designed to be a perfect human world? Where none suffered, where everyone would be happy. It was a disaster. No one would accept the program. Entire crops were lost. Some believed we lacked the programming language to describe your perfect world. But I believe that, as a species, human beings define their reality through suffering and misery. The perfect world was a dream that your primitive cerebrum kept trying to wake up from. Which is why the Matrix was redesigned to this: the peak of your civilization.

It's funny that I read this right after reading a thread of comments on Facebook regarding an article that Factcheck.org posted. Liberal went after Conservative, Conservative went after Liberal. They don't want to agree, they don't want to THINK about the POSSIBILITY of agreeing.

No, I don't think World Peace is possible, I don't think people want it. If they did, they'd try harder to make it possible in their own microcosms.

I want world peace, and I think if humanity developed itself to its full capabilities, we could achieve it. But we know I'm not "people".

Half of humanity would want world peace, and while they are working towards it, the other half would be planning to take over.
