So what’s all this guff about the Melbourne Arts Center Concert Hall?

In wordless, overlapping waves, 270 singers combined to replicate the “whoosh” of the ocean as heard from the shore. It was a simple but stunningly effective overture to the Chorus’ ninth concert in Melbourne, and a fitting introduction to the show's maritime theme.

Performance of Stravinski’s Symphony of Psalms and Orff’s Carmina Burana in October is probably next on the list.

I really need to get off my butt and start doing some serious photography again as well.

Nah, us singing an entire song a third higher than it was written ( and terrifying the conductor, poor Bagriana) very much keeps it in check.
