Ahh ... sweet, sweet spring break. Too bad it's punctuated by Daylight Savings Time. (night? day?) Lousy farmers! [/Homer]

I'm in a weird mood this evening. Lots of stimulus today, and I missed my usual Epic Walk (in which Subtilior the Urban Vagabond mimics Dickens, and strolls anywhere and everywhere.) So I feel a bit jittery.

Oh, oh, you are so bad. I just had to go and reread "A Year and a Day" (or what exists of it?) instead of concentrating on this weekend's batch of poetry.

IN any case, to answer your questions, in order: Yes. And, yes. In other words, I would love to see more rambling thoughts/notes on "Erlkoenig." I have always held out hope that you'd continue the notes on your lj.

I would also read any sequels, of course. I admit, I have always liked where Erlkoenig left off, even with the short sequel snippet--it has interesting promise for the future of that narrative, but it feels complete. I have always enjoyed stories whose endings implied a great deal that was left to me to guess where it might go. Of course, I love to read your writing too, and the tantalizing snippet you posted is, uh, tantalizing.

You know, if you'd like...anytime you find yourself with a window of free time to write, I'll make a window of free time to give it a beta read. Anything I can do to help further this fic-finishing bargain you've worked out! ;)
