Thank you... on both counts. :) I'm really happy you're enjoying the story, and the icon - it's the only one I have, as my talents in this area are extremely limited and the thought of trying to make another one is pretty traumatic. *G*

I'm loving this story. I think it's incredibly sweet that Liv is looking out for Alex. I just hope that things get better before they get too hairy. I can't wait for the next update!

There's always a fine line between 'sweet' and 'stalking'. *G* I'm really glad you read it in that way - that's how I'd intended it, but after I'd posted, I had a momentary panic that it would only come off as the 'stalking' part. :p

wow, great second chapter and i love how you aren't making this case too easy/too dangerous (high speed chases and speeding bullets almost immediately after they caught it. Not saying i'm objecting to you using those in the future XD)

Thank you, once again. I'm glad the second chapter didn't disappoint. I'm also very happy that people don't seem too put off by the slow build (there's still a little more to come) - but I need it to set the scene for what is to come, both with the 'case-file' plot and the characters. Although, thinking about it, as a general rule, the most dangerous thing in my stories is usually the metaphor. ;)
