no shame, none

I spent this evening pouring my miscellaneous grains into various jam jars and labelling them (orzo; bulghur; red split lentils; arborio rice; pot barley; ~~*MYSTERY~* GRAIN???) in case I have houseguests that look into my cupboards so as to judge my OCD-capable self. Soon I will have ditched all of the cleaning chemicals and neurotoxin-loaded ( Read more... )

I could not be more excited if it was a real postsecret about like, how my long lost love from grade school never forgot me and wants to come find me and bring me to a secret island paradise and feed me endless amounts of gummi worms and also his name is Obi Wan Kenobi and he'll train me to be a jedi while he's at it. That would definitely not be as exciting as this!!

!! Your very own fandom secret! That's so awesome. I lolled. (And I'm leaving that word there and wondering why the f it isn't coming up as a misspelling in Firefox..oh, how far we've fallen.)

And I so want to see your pantry now. It sounds very snazzy and I could so squee about the organization. How did you make your own toothpaste?

Dood, you loll all the time, I bet. I am lolling right now, on my couch, in my pajamas, because I am lazy and cannot get my ass to work on time.

And my toothpaste is just vegetable glycerin, baking powder, sea salt and peppermint extract. It's salty, which I was not expecting, but it keeps my mouth clean and tasty without any propylene glycol so I tolerate it (also I wonder if using a different kind of sea salt would result in less salt taste and more salt-scrubbing-texture-power). I will post the recipe book as a pdf at some point, it is in my ~planz!

That made me lol as I lolled on the armchair this morning, reading your comment. This is why J should never, ever comment that late. Ever.

Oh wow, that's pretty impressive. I've never had the gumption to try something like that. There are a few sea salts that aren't as soluble as the regular kind. I think you can get them at those chic hippie health-food stores.

Haha, validation! And your RPF is still my favourite RPF, so I am terribly unsurprised by that!

IM2! Man, why so random and chaotic? I was underwhelmed, which was my own fault because I went in expecting equal quality! Tragedy.
