Whenever I see "Final Fantasy" (ok, I might have recognized that name because I've seen you mention him before), I NEVER think of a band, just the video game. So in my mind, there were little video game dudes with swords running around making pilaf.
Although, I guess that makes Rural Alberta Advantage the Guy Vanderhaeghe of Canadian indie music. Or more likely the Gil Adamson, given their mutual love of the Frank Slide.
