ok, I have no idea how i found this... but this is Aaron... the other klezmer afficianado at that seven hills place... We should have Klezmer parties at school, and force them to play klezmer at prom, that would make me so happy... oh, and if you ever want to meet loads of good klezmer musicians, let me know, i have connections.

We had a conversation like this before sort of, and how you're friends with the guy from KCB. Well, when I was friends with Ben Teets, I showed him the Klezmatics and he developed a crush on Alicia Svigals. Not really, we just dug her a lot. So he emailed her AND SHE EMAILED HIM BACK! And she was so cool about it! I love klezmer more than anything. Let's talk about it all of the time.

The Klezmerite here again... KCB? Who is KCB?... I'm good friends with all the folks in Brave Old World. In fact, I spent a good deal of my birthday last week with the singer (Michael Alpert) and had seder with the accordionist (Alan Bern) last night. I actually know Alicia Svigals as well. My dad is a Balkan dance teacher, so I grew up in Balkan dance/ Klezmer camps, and hence have many connections... well, hope the klezmer treats you well.... Oh, If you're up for it, I say we hijack the school PA, and blast Klezmer over it.

Oooh, okay. It's Mr. Gleiner who knows guys from the KCB, which is the Klezmer Conservatory Band. I am WAY jealous of your connections. Please teach me how to dance? Seriously. Nobody invited me to their seder, and I'm not a real Jew so I didn't have one for myself. The PA idea is on. I also like driving around WASPy neighborhoods with klez going as loud as I can bear... most notably and notoriously in Mariemont.
Those rules sound like interesting variation. Spies were too easily killed in the original rules(by everything except the Marshal and the flag itself), and once all the enemy spies and the Enemy Marshal were killed and all the bombs were defused, the Marshal was invincible. This would lead to considerably more interesting games.
One idea might be for bombs and the flag to be moved by certain units. If a unit attacks, the person whose unit has the flag/bomb can decide to attack or, if they have a bomb, detonate it and destroy all three units(not recommended unless other enemies are nearby or if the attacked unit is outranked by the attacker).
