Rough Yarn

I am making my step-daughter a baby blanket with Red Heart Baby Sport Pompadour and it is so rough. What can I do when I finish to make it softer. (I knew I should have used Simply Soft.

Wash it with a lot of fabric softener! I do that with my blankets and they come out feeling very nice and soft.

ooh good tip. i am making my upcoming niece a baby blanket from some red heart yarn and I was wondering if I could wash it w/fabric softener first before giving it to the mom at her shower. ♥
