Russkies, dude. Bad test missile launch.
Doesn't take away from the prettiness, though. Especially since it confirms that their ballistic missiles don't hang straight.

i don't know if you know, the sun is the least reputable paper in the uk. it's not as bad as the enquirer but not too far from it either.

because it looks like someone photoshopped the streetlight UFO into the picture!

I just can't help but really think this is a hoax. Someone used a high powered projector or something. The spiral looks very "flat" not like something someone would ordinarily see in a large space like the sky. It lacks depth.
