It was a great idea to have it. I love stories where even if there's a thing where it's not the main plot point or even related to the plot at all, but it just sucks you in and makes it more amazing... it's awesome to have qualities like that, because it shows everything you put is in some way thought about and emotionally adding to the piece. It's awesome 8)
