Then go forth and ask the same in yours.
All comers welcome! Even completely unknown persons!

I do see what you mean about elements. There's that same unbridgeable emotional gap, one character straining for connection and falling short; except in this fic it's literal since the guy is, like, a ghost. I like the tension between the things he knows about her and the things he doesn't know, his own uncertainties. You have this way of writing contradictions that aren't actually contradictions, but are different aspects of a single whole personality, that I've always liked. (If that makes sense? It's late, excuse incoherency.)

I don't know why I'm so drawn to writing characters who are these masses of contradictions-that-somehow-aren't -- but it's a huge writer's kink for me and mostly I just go with it. I mean, what good is a kink if you don't indulge it?
Actually, not incoherent at all; you articulated it much better than I've ever been able to.

sannin, in three parts
This is going to sound so egotistical, but I actually like this one. Though I think I overdid a few things, but nobody's perfect.
(That's the first draft, I think. I'm not sure if I have a later one than that, but close enough. XD)

There's so much I want to fix but I love the basis of this idea.

Since I can't comment to your website: Ooooh, finally a Shinji fic without excessive rambling! Shinji always struck me as more of a grumbler than a rambler.
They walked around with baggy eyes and worried frowns, books clutched to their chests. They spoke in nervous, hurried whispers, and looked at textbooks with grim expressions. To Shinji, they seemed like doctors in a hospital, waiting for a patient to die.
Priceless. Works so much better to explain how right Shinji is to insist on playing tennis than if you'd just said it was something he needed to do. So many things about the Japanese school system seem counter-productive, but the cram-school attitude might be the most counter-productive of all ( ... )
