Part 1 of 2

Have you ever had one of those all-nighters where you think, this is so STUPID, it's only three hours of work so why am I spending all night on it? Yeah. On the plus side I did manage to finish two books during my "break" from lab-report writing. (On the minus side, they weren't very good books. ;_; C.J. Cherryh, I'm realizing, can be almost ( Read more... )

I tend to like entries that fit on one screen. Except when I don't. Right now, when trying to catch up at skip=120, one-screen posts get read mroe than more-than-one because I'm scrolling backwards and having to stop and scroll forwards for a while is annoying as fuck.

You read older entries in chronological order?

Yup. Because if I get interrupted and ahve to stop, that way it's easier to find where I left off.

* THis is only where there's over skip=60 or so. If it's jsut 2 or 3 screens, I'll tend to skim it quickly, in reverse chronological order.

Huh! That's interesting, I've never thought about it before. *muses* I know that I, personally, only post when I have something to say (usually about a single topic), but I'll basically read anything -- though the shorter entries are usually what grab my attention first. Me? Attention span of a two-year-old? YOU LIE.

It's unfair how you're expected to have a longer attention span after childhood! I know the older *I* get, for example, the shorter my attention span has gotten.

...UGH. (Is that a One Piece icon? Do I want to know?)

WHY, YES IT IS. *leers* You know you want to write me lots of Zoro/Luffy fic.

Boy, I can just imagine how that would go:

Zoro: Oi, Luffy-- move over.
Zoro: GNXXXXXX
(snoring)

romantic boys, yeahhh....

Generally, the length and content of an entry from a person on my friends-list doesn't matter to me much; as I think they're all lovely people anyway. The warm-happy-fuzzy-tingly-bunny-slipper feeling I get when people update their journals is all that really counts. Knowing someone is alive = priceless.

Awww, thanks. That's such a nice thing to say.

Be glad I didn't take the way of the ticky box and just mark all of those. But "it depends" is my favorite response to anything, so that's what goes.

And I'm just going to send a bunch of Trinity Blood images anyway, yeah? I figure even if you don't like the series, art won't be a plague. Even if it's really strange, overly-detailed art.

Yes please ♥

I had to make this a ticky box poll when I realized that the options were discussing different things -- as in, one is about content, one is about frequency, one is about topics. And these things are NOT THE SAME.

oooh Sawada Shin <33333 I thought he was hottest in the anime, although possibly this is because of the abominably, PURPOSEFULLY horribly character art he was surrounded by (apparently though this is the inverse case in the dorama and all his friends are suddenly hotter than him =_=;;). also in the anime you are constantly reminded he has red hair, and for some reason he dresses up in strange military uniform during the ending credits :D
