(also, i thought he only survived the poison because the guy hadn't intended to kill him? gave him just enough to make him uncomfortable for a bit. assumed that he /would/ have died even then if he'd received the full dosage, since he'd been using his body as a swordcushion for a while even before he met rin, hadn't he?)

see, at least attaching extra heads to yourself doesn't actually hurt you after the initial sewing, and, y'know, you get these nice permanent shoulder pads into the bargain. benefits outweigh disadvantages! which makes more sense than doing umm a certain thing where the disadvantages are so huge that it's hard to imagine what kind of benefits could ever ever outweigh them.
also, sabato's kind of nice. :D a broody poet, even! he's just an lj-er born a few hundred years before his time, when you think about it.
