Because I'm sitting here trying to write vaguely disturbing and dark original fantasy and obviously it's all your fault I want to put in dancing bunnies and a sparkly love fest. *blames!*
I don't go out of my way to find it, but if something's recommended I'll usually take a look. Besides, quoth you: "If you like Yami no Matsuei, fairytales, cute things...." (emphasis mine)
Hopefully, Sakura will actually be of USE now, like maybe punching the lights out of Sasuke for good measure. (I apologize if you're a Sasuke fan...but that boy *shakes fist*)
Pen names are tough. I happen to think that if one doesn't strike you in the head like a bolt of lightening at the age of say, 2, then it'll probably turn out sounding like you've tried too hard. But other times it's funny, your friend utters a word without thinking, and you go "hey, that could work". Never know. ><;;;
Aw, thanks! It just amuses me, how easily pink shades into orange. On the color wheel of destiny, SakuNaru was clearly meant to be. (I'm with falxumbra on this one: Sakura definately wears the pants of any relationship she's in, with the possible exception of InoSaku. But I digress.)
I also have high hopes for the new Sakura. Although this making-them-just-like their-teachers thing... yeah, that has to stop. People are more than their bogus historical parallels/teachers.
I like onyahbear, actually. It just embarrasses me that this is also my offical university name. I get my bills with Onyabear on them -_-.
Gawd, Naruto and Sakura are adorkable. The icons kill me with cute. (My thoughts on 245 were more along the lines of "Aww, Naruto got Kakashi pr0n! And so the student becomes the teacher.")
Pennames are difficult; it took me years to finally find ones I felt comfortable with, and I'm still more likely to sign things with "V" than falxumbra or nescione. (For some reason I can't capitalize either of those...) It's good to have a name you're comfortable with, even online...and if people find things you don't want them to find, you can always just deny, deny, deny. :D
Aren't they?sub_dividedJanuary 30 2005, 01:40:02 UTC
Denial? Doesn't work so well in the face of overwhelming physical and/or circumstantial evidence. But I can try.
(Where do you use nescione? I don't think I've ever seen that one. falxumbra, on the other hand, is Too Cool For Words. I'm totally with you on the capitalization thing, too.)
Re: Aren't they?falxumbraJanuary 31 2005, 02:42:24 UTC
Well, maybe denial doesn't work all that well all the time. *sigh* (I still think you should embrace your inner geek and let the whole world know, but that'd be a little bit hypocritical of me.)
Nescione is my ff.net account name, but shh, don't spread that around. It embarrasses me. (See? Hypocrite! Ah, well.)
It's Sonya. But shhhh, I'm blowing my own cover here.
Dude, I'd totally have gotten Kakashi the same thing. I mean, what else do we know about him? He's an angsty ninja who like porn. And since you can't exactly give someone angst (or, you can, but only Itachi would consider it a "gift")...yeah. Porn it is!
again! this time no spelling errors!sub_dividedJanuary 30 2005, 03:59:08 UTC
Ah yeah, someone else mentioned this too. So why, then, does Naruto do *perverted* ninjutsu? And have Jiraiya parallels? (Wait, his perverted jutsus all turned him into a girl. >_> I'm not helping myself here.)
Thought: Jiraiya is the most heterosexual person on the show. Is the qualification for heterosexuality raging perversion and voyeurism, then?

And that fic has killed me. My heart, it is melted into a warm and pleasantly happy goo. :(

I didn't know you read fanfiction? (Knowing the kind of melodrama that usually goes with this series only makes the cute stuff better.)

I'm a sucker for cute. ^_^

The weird thing is, I don't really go for Naruto slash (or pairings at all, really). I don't know why I'm defending it...

I'm a Sasunaru fan. Yup. (Or I was.)
