Shopping was really expensive. One fine example that I quote each time someone asked me was - a MAC lipstick costs 28SGD in Singapore but costs 49SGD in Tokyo. I think I prefer shopping in Singapore. And I realised their shoes come in S, M or L or in centimeters. ??
But I still got a few things for myself from Shibuya 109. An elderly like me buying stuff there. And the salesgirl kept going, "Kawaii! Kawaii!". It's hilarious.
Also agnes b and Comme Des Garcons does seem to be cheaper so my son got a few t-shirts from there. I'd wish he was more fashion trendy cos the mens fashion in Tokyo is way cool. I would love to give him a makeover. LOL!!
Part of me was thinking - what a waste of precious time to watch anime in Tokyo. It's funny how I could hardly find anything Saiyuki in Ikebukuro or Akihabara, but you seem to be able to do so easily. I ended up hunting for Code Geass and Tiger & Bunny. ;)
You can tell huh. Yup, my maiden trip to both US and Japan. I'd love to visit US again but the flight is really a nightmare. More than 20 hours! *shudders*
Already making plans to revisit Tokyo in spring or autumn 2013, after my son's GCE 'O' Levels in Nov this year. ;)

Went to Mandarake at Ikebukuro but they had too many DJs and I kinda felt bad bringing my son along. So I left after a quick spin. :P
