YES YES YES.

Someone needed to write this--Merlin kills again and again and again and seems not to think twice about it, and destiny or not, that has got to have an impact, surely? The unresolved/unexplored nature of this has been turning in my head until just now.

That someone wrote this so insightfully and slow-buildingly and well is just a very added bonus for us all.

I will write more coherent feedback when I'm not writing about the time-space continuum at 3.58am.
