What the hell is wrong with me? Am staying up late to read a story written in the most evil and annoying 'you' -way I never ever read, only to find out one of the guys dies at the end.

The author chose not to use the warnings? Man, I should have checked the ending....

I absolutely hate surprises like that.
This is the reason why I now absolutely always check the endings first, after reading the first chapter so I would know if I should continue reading.

Even worse are unwarned partner betrayals. Like WTF!?!?!

I check the end most of the time, but for some weird reason didn't with this fic.
