The screenplays were actually some of the ideas I initially thought of writing for you for this exchange, but which all seemed too complicated. I felt that a Valentine fic shouldn't be so complicated (and sad and tragic), plus I was also personally struggling through a vicious writing slump at the time, and so this idea came up.

I was a little worried about the Matsumiya. But since it wasn't in your list of notps, I thought I could go with it (and a little self-indulgent Yama bff-ery, too!♥). I was seriously relieved to find out that they are your 2nd otp~! I do also think them very charming~♥

I can only reiterate that I thought this was absolutely perfect and would no-doubt go into my all-time favourites. The fact that you wrote this while in a writing slump just makes it all the more amazing. You have real talent if I ever saw one.

Yeah I think it was a good call to end up with this than do something tragic. I do like angst, but something like this just leaves you in so much more of a better mood in the end <3
