Inspired in part by this article, I am going to give up buying clothes. I figure I'll try it for six months and see how it sits - maybe I'll be able to stretch that out to a full year

The problem about Clothes Swap (if there is one) is that it can be full of other people's mistakes! Hopefully everyone makes different mistakes, and that other people mistakes is someone elses must-buy!

I ought to do this. My wardrobe is overflowing and my bank balance is not looking healthy (and that's not all down to yesterday!)

Only do it if you don't think you'll get stranded halfway because you haven't bought anything autumnal since you started rethinking your wardrobe ...

That may be a problem. But at any rate I'm sure I could manage not to buy anything until October.

Half the problem is my utter obsession with lingerie - when bra and knicker sets are £50 a pop, it's an expensive habit!

The rules, as such that they are, are quite simple:-
if you f-lock a post, then the boys can't read the post - so use this for body image and lingerie and stuff.
if you don't lock a post, then the boys can read it, and some of them can post comment.

I have recently started buying clothes - bought myself some fabric in Bhiwani, and 2 t-shirts and 2 trousers last week. That should take care of my shopping urges for the next year or so.

Incidentally, what are cargo pants - are they those comfy, roomy things with loads of pockets? If yes, I got myself one last week. :)

That's exactly what they are - the number of pockets varies hugely (I have all kinds).
