1. I think I was reading the Berestein Bears then XD Oh and Encyclopedia Brown :)

2. Vampire story? As long as there's no violence and ends happily, I think vampire stories would be fine XD

Oh my gawd I had a huuuuuge nostaligia moment a few days ago when I randomly rememebered Baby-sitter's Club. It was an obsession.

I know i read Jurassic Park when I was 12 and that's when I really started reading for fun again. And then I read 'hitchhiker's guide'. and I probably read 'Neverending Story' with my mom before that...

Vampires work as long as they are not sexing it up ever 3 seconds hehe.

Age-appropriateness is more about no sex, swearing, yadda yadda than anything else. And no graphic violence.

I'll say, Baby-Sitters Club with Amanda too. And Little Sister (it's from the same writer of BSB.) And Berstein Bears. And those hispanic books.

Anyway, I think on how far you go on the Vampire...yeah, just don't go too far. Like make the kids get nightmares. >.>

hm...8-12 was basically middle school for me soooo....

i think i was reading alot of fantasy books :D like diana wynne jones and tamora pierce...

oh, and i loved Roald Dahl :D
