Remember Ned Vizzini?

The kid who got articles published in the New York Press, where he exaggerated and fictionalized elements of Stuy?

Who now has a semi-regular column in the Press?

His book on high school life has been optioned by Miramax.

What, me envious?

any chance that he has a brother named Daniel?
he was in my precal class this term
and wrote a slightly exaggerated article in the now-famous 9-11 Spectator where he misquoted Mr Pratt
seems to run in the family if its true...

Statistically speaking, there is some chance, of course.

You'd have to ask this Daniel for more info.

I graduated almost 9 years ago and am a bad alum. Thus out of the loop. Any more details on that exaggeration and fictionalization of elements of Stuy? I'm really curious. Thanks.

Here's the book on Amazon. Here's a Google list of his NY Press articles.

I didn't know him when I was at Stuy, I'm just (still!) envious from afar.
