Every chapter needs an ending. Most trips end with airports, ticket stubs, and tired travelers ready to go home. Unlike them, I feel I am home. No, not here in Central America, not even if I was on Utila - our Caribbean home, but in the world. This is where I feel the most comfortable

Well. you must come back some day... Otherwise you'll miss all the point of Costa Rica- The Corcovado National Park!!! and you will never see a tapir in the wild :(

ahh that line is so true. Many days the only thing I would ever have to grab from my backpack was my toiletry bag. It makes me wonder if I could have traveled with only a HS size bookbag. Given the right climate, I think I could have.

I often wonder why I carry the size backpack I do... Even though now in Africa a big part will be done in a car we'll be buying (and then selling in the end) I still want to minimize the amount of stuff I'll be taking.
